Llandybie travelled to Cae Ffair to play highly placed Trimsaran. The visitors got off to a flying start, from a good run from Rhys Evans shedding the defence to offload to Nathaniel Butler to score. Trimsaran replied with a driving line out for Iwan Green to score. Two good carries from Jordan Tommason put Llandybie on the front foot, a dropped pass picked up by Tim Williams seeing Keri Davies free to canter in for a try converted by Ben Featherstone. Another driving lineout from Trimsaran resulted in a try for Aled Bell. Eirian Williams and Ethan Walters worked hard for Llandybie. A kick out of defence by Llandybie found fullback Rhodri Ellis who made good ground with a couple of missed tackles to find Mike Daniels to score. A good break by Butler put Davies clear but Trimsaran’s defence got back to cover. Llandybie put a penalty to touch and from Dan Brooks’ throw, set up a driving line out. Good hands from Jamie Gimblett and Keenan Jones, with the latter passing to Tim Williams who scored in the corner, with Featherstone converting with a fine kick from the touchline. Half time 15-19 to the visitors.
Trim put on some pressure early in the second half but Butler put in a relieving kick to touch. A little flick pass put Butler clean through but his offload to Rhys Evans went to ground and a try went begging.  A good break was made by Trimsaran but James Tommason made a try saving tackle. From a scrum, Trim’s Steffan Roberts picked up from the base to score a converted try. With Llandybie pressuring, Trim broke away to score a try converted by Steffan Roberts. Llandybie although 29-19 down and with time running out didn’t give up. Rhys Cann found James Tommason from the lineout, Alex Wigley released the backs with Rhys Evans making a run down the right to release Josh Cranfield to score. A kick ahead from fullback Wayne Williams kept Llandybie going forward with a clearance kick charged down by Butler, who then passed to wing Ben Featherstone to score – tying the match. Match official Mark Evans contributed to a fast end-to-end match.
